Focusing on the relationship between plant communities and foliar fungal diseases in Qinghai-Tibet Plateau alpine meadow ecosystems, I found the existence of the phylogenetic dilution effect, and proposed a new mechanism for the dilution effect in plant communities. Meanwhile, I have clarified how warming affects foliar fungal diseases directly rather than indirectly via plant communities, and detected contrasting effects of grazing on foliar fungal diseases with different life histories.
