He has won the National Excellent Youth Science Foundation project, Shanxi Youth Science and Technology Model and Youth Science and Technology Award. He received his bachelor&#8217;s degree from the Biology Base Class of Inner Mongolia University in September 2007 and his doctor&#8217;s degree from China Agricultural University in February 2013 under the supervision of Professor Wu Weihua, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Diego, under Professor Julian Schroeder, Member of the National Academy of Sciences.
