Abstract:
Deadwood represents a globally important carbon and nutrient stock and plays important roles in hosting a great diversity and abundance of organisms by providing habitat, nourishment and foraging sites. In my report, I will discuss two main questions: one is the biodiversity in deadwood and the interactions between different functional groups; another is disentangling the decay dynamics within and across tree species.
