Mineral nutrient transportation and nitrogen-fixing symbiosis in soybean nodule

Abstract:

Chen Zhichang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. He received his bachelor’s degree from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2007, his master’s degree from Institute of Soil Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010, and his PhD degree from Okayama University, Japan in 2013. Subsequently, he was supported by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Academia (JSPS) and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Japan Institute of Resources and Plant Science. He is mainly engaged in the research on the mechanism of nutrient efficiency in crops, especially on the study of magnesium nutrition in crops and mineral nutrition in soybean nodules.
